Most of them don’t understand the scope of the problem, but have recently become aware that this type of activity exists, and they are watching what is happening with the school girls who were kidnapped in Africa this last week. Prepare a 1.5-2 page paper documenting the scope of the problem and what needs to be done. You may use your text as well as other resources to document the issue. Presume that people reading it are concerned but not necessarily informed.

Trask documents how feminism has spread women’s rights and gender equality principles across the globe, but also that Western feminism is also highly individualistic, which may not work well in cultures that are more collectivist in orientation.
